Back in 2011 we were approached by Shinola to build bikes for them and their #madeinUSA brand. Their passion to source as many domestically made parts for all their products fit well with our desire to make high end custom bikes in Portland. We ended up building 6 prototypes and designing their whole line of bikes. We used that money to start Breadwinner Cycles. Last month they opened their store in Portland and we are still proud to be a part of every bike they sell.
It doesn’t get any more American than this. Breadwinner CX team racer, Michael Gallagher is spending a week in Colorado for national guard training and he took his Lolo to get some training miles in before cx season starts back in Oregon. #madeinUSA
