Sort of “funny” but when I stopped to fix my puncture I found out my spare tube (with 2 patches already) also had a hole in it. No problem, I’ll just patch it with my trusty Rema patch kit right. Patched but glue failed. I have parched hundreds of tubes and never had this issue. Weird. Tire back off. Patch first tube. No dice. No cell coverage either. Good day for a long walk in road kit I thought to myself. Made it to the road and thumbed a ride from 2 guys in a Cheach and Chong van back to hwy 30. No bike shop in the Poose so I am waiting in the sun with my 4G service for my trusty #breadwinnerCXteam mate @seanbob to come help me out. I am just glad it’s dry and I’m not wearing my #carsRcoffins socks. Oh the potential irony. Think I might not get that “be prepared” merit badge after all.
